Dead trees are an important characteristic of natural forests structure, especially in the old-growth developmental phases which play a wide range of ecological functions. This study aimed to investigate the mortality of trees in the Afratakhteh forest reserve in the Aliabad region. After the preliminary filed observation, three one-hectare study areas were selected and the quantitative and qualitative characteristics (diameter, height, type, and decay stage) of all dead trees were assessed. Results showed that the average volume of dead trees in the study area was 50.44 cubic meter per hectare.  The yew encompassed the high amount of dead volume (37.40 m3) and the most of dead trees were in the second stage of decay. Tree mortality rate in diameter classes showed the greatest amount of dead volume observed in 25-50 cm diameter classes and the highest mortality of yew trees occurred in 10 cm diameter class that are equal to around 38% of total dead volume. Due to the fact that the Yew species are in the red list of threatened species, and on the other hand, the highest mortality rate of this species is observed in low diameter classes, it is necessary to identify the factors that affect its mortality to provide restoration and conservation of yew.}, keywords = {Decay stage,Forest reserves,Habitat tree,Tree mortality}, title_fa = {ارزیابی کمی و کیفی خشکه‌دارهای سرخدار در جنگل‌های افراتخته استان گلستان}, abstract_fa = {مرگ‌ومیر درختان و تبدیل آن به خشکهدار یکی از مهمترین فرآیندها در جنگلها است. خشکه‌دار یک مشخصة مهم ساختاری جنگل‌های طبیعی به‌ویژه در فاز تحولی کهنرست است که دامنة وسیعی از کارکردهای بوم‌شناختی را ایفا می‌کند. این بررسی با هدف ارزیابی کمی و کیفی خشکه‌دارهای سرخدار در ذخیره‌گاه افراتخته علی‌آباد کتول انجام شد. پس از جنگلگردشی اولیه و انتخاب سه قطعه یک هکتاری، آماربرداری صددرصد خشکه‌دارها و اندازه‌گیری مشخصه‌های کمی و کیفی شامل قطر، ارتفاع، نوع خشکه‌دار و درجه پوسیدگی انجام شد. نتایج نشان داد که مقدار متوسط حجم خشکه‌دارها 46/50 مترمکعب در هکتار است و بیش‌ترین حجم خشکه‌دارها در بین گونه‌های درختی مربوط به گونة سرخدار معادل 40/37 مترمکعب در هکتار و همچنین در دومین درجه پوسیدگی و شکل خشکه‌دار سرپا است. نتایج حاصل از محاسبة نرخ مرگ‌ومیر در طبقات قطری نشان داد که بیشترین حجم خشک در طبقات میان قطر و در گونة سرخدار در طبقة 10 و 15 سانتی‌متری (89/33 درصد از حجم کل) و برای دیگر گونه‌ها در طبقات قطری 60، 55 و 80 رخ می‌دهد. با توجه اینکه گونه سرخدار در لیست قرمز گونه‌های تهدید شده قرارداد و بیشترین نرخ مرگ‌ومیر در قطرهای کم مشاهده می‌شود، لازم است با شناخت عوامل مؤثر بر مرگ‌ومیر آن شرایط احیا و حفاظت از آن فراهم شود.}, keywords_fa = {درجه پوسیدگی,درختان زیستگاه,ذخیره‌گاه جنگلی,مرگ‌ومیر درختان}, url = {https://jfrd.urmia.ac.ir/article_20522.html}, eprint = {https://jfrd.urmia.ac.ir/article_20522_14fb52b071624299fe3f89c04fdacb62.pdf} }
