Aims and Scope

This journal's aims and viewpoints include the following:

1- Creation of a new avenue for the dissemination of scientific results in the field of forest sciences, including: Forest Pathology, Forest Pests & Diseases, Landscape Ecology, Forest Community Analysis, Afforestation, Reforestation & Forest Restoration, Forest History & Paleontology, Biodiversity, Forest Ecology, Forest Road Construction, Urban Forestry, Silviculture, Wood Logging & Transportation, Timber Harvesting Systems, Forest Work Science, Forest Biometry, Forest Genetics, Forest Remote Sensing & Geographic Information System, Forestry, Forest Economics, Policy, and Social Studies, Forest Microclimatology, Forest Hydrology & Water Resources.

2- Sharing the discoveries of Iranian and foreign scholars in the near future

3- Meeting postgraduate students' requirements and inspiring them by giving research articles

4- Meeting academics' and researchers' demands and advancing science by giving research papers

5- Providing managers and experts from executive bodies with access to the findings of applied forest science research in order to convey critiques and scientific debates and, eventually, to implement them

6- Developing a proper database in the field of forest sciences in Iran's northwest and west in order to focus research themes, avoid duplication, and eventually synergize the current forces in this sector

7- The ability to monitor the studies being undertaken and send a report to the relevant ministry for use in educational and research policy
