Forest Research and Development, affiliated with Urmia University, is the Iran’s northwest first journal of forest sciences, publishing researchers' studies achievements in forest sciences with the goal of disseminating and publishing the conducted research and exchanging ideas and information in scientific societies. Articles in all aspects of forest science will be considered for publication.

Forest Research and Development publishes original research articles in Persian and English. Original research, review, and brief papers in one of the research topics of Forest Research and Development that are published for the first time will be reviewed for publishing in this publication, and the journal maintains all reproduction rights. The editorial board or external consultants review all manuscripts. A double-blind approachwill be employed, with at least two reviewers. The journal has no article processing and submission charges.
